Teresa's is a good (not great) Italian restaurant and deli in an area with little serious competition. It offers some nice specials Monday - Saturday of which I highly recommend the Sausage Cacciatore over pasta.

They also have some regular deli and Italian sub sandwiches, as well as standard hot ones like veal and chicken parm. Overall the prices are reasonable, but be careful when ordering soft drinks since they charge for refills.

Since they got a nod from the Phantom Gourmet and business is good, it appears they don't need to overly worry about providing consistent quality or a value. For example, I ordered a veal parm sandwich a couple of months ago that had whole, unbreaded pieces of veal with mozzarella melted over it. Today I ordered the same sandwich which had breaded, deep fried pieces of veal and the cheese was underneath it (which is so wrong but common in MA for some reason). It was still good and the bread is always high quality.

You can probably find better Italian food elsewhere but Teresa's is still worth it if you're in the area. They also offer outdoor patio dining which is great on a nice warm day.

I rate them 3.5 out of 5.
